Every appliance in your home carries a small metal plate with its make and model on it. That plate is all HomeBook needs to get started.

Snap the plate

Open the app and photograph the model plate on a furnace, fridge, washer, water heater — anything with a make and model. One photo per appliance.

Get the manual

HomeBook reads the plate, finds the matching manual, and shelves it with that appliance — alongside its warranty dates and maintenance record.

Hand it over

When the home sells, the whole record passes to the next owner: every manual, every warranty, every bit of upkeep. Nothing gets lost in the move.
